 Nathan Childers, Executive Director
Nate is the founder of Lampstand which is overseen by a local board of directors (see below). He and his wife, Teri, have lived in Boardman with their two boys since 2008. He is the director for Camp Woodside and a para-professional in behavioral health with Sharon Regional Health System (PA) during the school year. Nate graduated from Cedarville University in southwest Ohio and Covenant Seminary (M.Div.) in St. Louise In the past, he has also served as a director of a local after-school program and an associate pastor in Illinois from 2000-2008. Rick Blair, Chairman
Rick is the mediator for the Mahoning County Common Pleas Court
after 33 years of private practice of law. He is a graduate of
Franklin & Marshall College and received his juris doctor from
Ohio Northern University. Rick has been married to his wife Ellen
for 42 years and together they have four children and seven
grandchildren. Rick also serves as an elder at Tabernacle
Evangelical Presbyterian, president of the board of directors for
Warriors, Inc. and a teaching director of Community Bible Study.
Rosalyn
Donaldson, Secretary Rosalyn is an adjunct instructor at Eastern Gateway Community
College and National College. Rosalyn was born and raised in
Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science
from Middle Tennessee State University. Her varied work experience
includes having been a programmer analyst, corporate trainer and HR
Representative. Rosalyn relocated to Youngstown with her husband, a
Youngstown native, who is the senior pastor of Rising Star Baptist
Church. There she serves as Sunday School and youth ministry
teacher. Rosalyn her husband, Kenneth and son reside in Youngstown.
Robbie Jones
Robbie is a wife and mother of six children. She is a member/partner of
Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church where she teaches Sunday
School and Vacation Bible School. Robbie has provided leadership in
children and youth ministries and currently volunteers with the
Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley, Kingdom Meals and Youngstown
Christian School.
Matt Mager, Vice Chairman
Matt is
the teaching pastor of Sovereign Grace Chapel. Matt was born and
raised in Youngstown, Ohio. He graduated with a B.S. in Nursing from
Youngstown State University. While in YSU, he served on campus with
Inter-varsity Christian Fellowship and was a teaching elder at his
local church. Matt earned a Master of Divinity degree at The Master’s
Seminary in Sun Valley, California in May 2006. He then returned home
to give leadership to the start of a new church in his hometown. He
currently lives in Youngstown with his wife, Bernie, and daughter.
